Day 1: I start the day by catching the train into federation square but to catch the train I had to use a mykey card for the first time it was confusing at first but got the hang of it in the end. From federation square we went to the shrine of remembrance, I stayed quiet to respect the ones lost in war, I felt very respectful but the feeling is too hard to describe. In the shrine I was chosen to dress up as a WW1 soldier and tried to take it as serious as possible and I was honoured to wear the uniform. In the main room of the shrine we had a moment of silence to honour the lost soldiers. At the end of the tour of the shrine the man that gave us the tour offered me to become a young ambassador for the shrine I was honoured to be offered to become an ambassador for the shrine of rememberence. After the shrine we went to the Baptist church and learnt about homeless people and what urban seed do for the homeless like provide breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 2: start the day by catching the train to federation square. Then we started the scavenger hunt me, Joel, Ben and Jye, it was great fun we ran everywhere the challenges were relatively easy and I think it’s safe to say that we were all stuffed after sprinting around the city in search of all the locations. At one of the locations the was this lolly shop that me and Joel got massive lollypops from after those we were so hypo and had so much fun. After the scavenger hunt we had to go to ACMI because it was too wet in ACMI there was some interesting things like a dark room that projected light into smoke to create a visual effect.

Day 3: Today we didn’t meet in the city but instead we meet at school in casual dress to participate in a self-defence class, It was ok I suppose but it was funny when the instructor did a demonstration with me and I blocked all of his punches then he got serious because I was better than he thought I was. After the self-defence class we meet up with the girls at the uniting church hall to be spoken to by the police and we were shown a movie about sexting it was confronting but I’m glad that the police talked to us because now I actually know what I can and can’t do in society. Then Rory and other teachers talked to us about growing up and sexual stuff it was funny and we all had a laugh but we all took what we were talking about seriously and respected what the teachers were talking about.
