City Experience
Day 1:
We went into the city and meet up at federation square from where we headed to the Shrine of remembrance to learn about the First World War and to learn about the shrine. Many things were learnt including the items taken into battle, what was done to win and how Australian shrines are honouring those who fought not glorifying there victories.

We there walked around finding where to get lunch and after lunch meeting back at federation square we headed to St some things Baptist church were we meet Bianca from Urban seed. We talked about homelessness and the city and how it works. We went on a walk and were told to think about how you feel in this area. We ended up at Café Crede (Can't exactly remember what the cafe is called) where business people and homeless people and all those in between meet to have lunch and have a good chat. That concludes the first day.
Day 2:
We met up at federation square were we split up into groups to do a scavenger hunt in the city. The tasks were getting photos in front of the building, landmark or area and answer some information on this particular thing. Katerina, Eloise and I complete all but three of the tasks. The tasks were spread out all over the city. Places went to were Flagstaff gardens,

Melbourne Central, Old Treasury building and the Immigration building. Lunch was next after which we headed back to federation square. Since the weather was poor we went into ACMI and looked around inside at all the games and programs. One of the programs was you did a quick 4 second action and it would appear in slow motion as though you did it in slow motion just like in the Matrix. That concluded the second day.
Day 3:
The boys and girls had self defence lessons in two different areas. The boys had their class in the schools theatre and the girls at Strathmore Uniting Church. We learnt the order in which to do things involving self defence so as to not get in trouble if the other person is injured. We then went up to the church were the police spoke to us about sexting and alcohol consumption. Talking about the sexting a video was shown were a girl was pressured into sending a nude picture of herself to her boyfriend. They broke up and to get back at her he sent the picture out to friends. The boy faced charges and the girl had severe harassment and embarrassment because of the photo. The talking about alcohol consumption was about where you can drink alcohol under certain circumstances. We then talked about among ourselves about gender, sex and sexuality. This day felt the longest since we were staying in the one place. This was the end of our city experience.
